Webber Insurance Services is a vibrant insurance broking firm founded in 2011 by Chris Webber, and joined by Daniel Webber in 2013. Together Chris and Daniel have created a dynamic business focussed on providing quality insurance advice and solutions for small to medium sized businesses.

Webber Insurance is part of the Steadfast Group which is the largest insurance broker network in Australia.  This provides flexibility and influence when negotiating with insurers on a clients behalf.  The business’ mission is to ensure that clients have the right protection in place should something unforeseen happen.  The team take the time to understand each clients individual business and the risks they face.

Chris and Daniel are well aware of the requirements and demands facing new business owners and have built up trusted relationships with clients by providing expert advice, support, knowledge and understanding.  Webber Insurance works for the client, not the insurers, and takes great pride in offering ‘smart’ insurance and educated risk management solutions.

Webber Insurance has become the ‘go to’ broker for more specialised insurance needs, particularly Professional Indemnity and Public Liability for small businesses, as well as those ‘harder to place’ type insurances.

CHRIS WEBBER

MANAGING DIRECTOR / INSURANCE BROKER

Chris has worked in the Insurance Industry for over fifteen years. Firstly for a large national insurance company where he was involved in underwriting policies and claims before moving to a large international broker. He later moved to a smaller suburban insurance broker before deciding to set up his own business.

During the ten year period before setting up his own business, Chris gained much knowledge and experience working in varying insurance roles and gaining qualifications through external insurance studies.

He successfully gained the following industry qualifications, showing his full commitment to the Insurance industry:

• Senior Associate of the Australian & NZ Institute of Insurance & Finance (ANZIIF)
• Qualified Practising Insurance Broker (QPIB) of the National Insurance Brokers Association (NIBA)

The knowledge Chris has gained working in the industry has been both beneficial and rewarding, and has given him an acute awareness of the importance of listening and working collaboratively with clients to achieve the best quality outcome for their insurance needs.

DANIEL WEBBER

DIRECTOR / INSURANCE BROKER

Daniel joined Webber Insurance Services in February 2013 after starting his journey in the insurance industry in 2006. He has gained valuable experience in a variety of roles including sales support, underwriting, commercial broking and management of small teams of staff.

Daniel loves talking to people and is driven by his customers satisfaction and happiness. He loves nothing more than helping clients that have ‘out of the square’ insurance requirements and specialises in Professional Indemnity, IT Liability, Management Liability and Public Liability. Once a client has worked with Daniel, rarely will they want to work with anyone else!

Daniel has successfully gained the following industry qualifications, showing his full commitment to the Insurance industry:

Outside of work, Daniel is a proud new dad after he and his wife recently welcomed their first child. He is also an avid basketballer with the Norwood Flames Basketball Club!

AHSHA WEBBER

FINANCIAL CONTROLLER

Ahsha has been with Webber Insurance from the get-go, working in synergy with Chris, Daniel and the Team to establish, build and grow the business in order to provide the best service to our clients.

Having originally come from a teaching background, Ahsha’s organisation skills, meticulous attention to detail and supportive nature mean the everyday running of the business works seamlessly. Ahsha thoroughly enjoys all things ‘finance’ and embraces her role in order to support the rest of the team to do what they do best, insurance!

Away from the everyday running of the business, Ahsha enjoys spending time with her husband, young children, family and friends. She also loves cooking, gardening, holidays in Noosa and a night out dancing!

ELIZABETH WEBBER

ADMINISTRATION MANAGER

Elizabeth joined Webber Insurance in January 2017, bringing a wealth of experience in office administration, and has since taken on the challenge of learning the insurance broking industry from the ground up.

Over the past few years, she has worked on creating a professional and friendly ‘team’ approach to the business, providing a personal insurance experience that leaves our clients appreciating the extra effort taken and feeling confident that their insurance is in safe hands. Elizabeth has been involved in the development of systems and staff training to ensure we keep pace with the many changes in the insurance industry – she loves a challenge!

Away from the office, Elizabeth enjoys time at the gym and loves eating out with family and friends. She is a keen sports fan, but particularly enjoys watching her sons compete on the basketball court. Like many of us, travel is on top of her ‘to do’ list and she hopes to be able to do more of this in the future!

JESSICA BRUGIONI (nee Dametto)

ACCOUNT BROKER

Jess started her journey with Webber Insurance Services back in 2016, and over the years has been involved in various roles throughout the company. Upon completing her Diploma of Insurance Broking (ANZIIF) in 2018, she progressed into her current role as an Account Broker.

Jess was awarded the Steadfast-ANZIIF Outstanding Insurance Professional Award and the SA/NT Young Professional Broker of the Year awards in 2019, both of which were certainly highlights of her career to date. She has a passion for learning and uses industry knowledge and information to provide quality insurance advice to her clients.

Outside of her fast-paced work life, Jess thoroughly enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and husband. She is also a devoted ‘dog-mum’ to her dog Murphy.

NIKIA GOERS

ACCOUNT BROKER

Nikia grew up in the Barossa Valley and after travelling around Europe and Thailand in 2016, she then decided to move to Adelaide where she joined the Webber team in 2017. Starting as a trainee, she has progressed each year and is now an Account Broker having completed her Diploma of Financial Services (Insurance Broking) in 2020.

Nikia also holds an Associate Membership of the National Insurance Brokers Association (NIBA) and is a Senior Associate of the Australian & NZ Institute of Insurance & Finance (ANZIIF). In recognition of Nikia’s outstanding work, she was recently a finalist in the SA & NT Young Broker of the Year Awards.

Nikia loves her sports, playing netball for Tanunda Netball Club every Saturday. She also enjoys spending time with family and friends. Nikia enjoys working at Webber Insurance because of the friendly, family atmosphere. Her role is challenging, yet exciting and she enjoys assisting clients throughout the Insurance journey.

VANESSA LEAK

BROKER ASSISTANT

Vanessa joined Webber Insurance Services in January 2019 after completing her Bachelor of Arts. She has since completed her Tier 1 in Insurance Broking Compliance and enjoys the fast-paced and varied role of assisting clients with their insurance needs.

Vanessa has proven to be an invaluable team member who is willing to keep learning the many facets of the insurance broking industry and now confidently communicates with clients – nothing is ever too much trouble for Vanessa!

In her free time Vanessa enjoys painting and spending time with her family and friends. She also loves to travel.
