Why a combined IT insurance policy? On occasion there is legal uncertainty as the nature of activities provided by IT professionals can be extremely diverse. For example, it is not always clear what can be defined as a product (IT goods) and what can be defined as a service (IT services).

A professional indemnity insurance policy generally covers “advice” with “products” generally covered under a public and products liability policy.  By combining these into the one IT liability cover, the gaps that may exist with having two separate policies are significantly reduced.
